Description
Tamiya Plastic Cement (TAM87012) is a liquid model cement for assembling plastic (styrene) model kits. Its slightly viscous formula flows along seam lines to form strong, clean bonds, and works well for attaching parts that have been pre-fitted by hand.
Key features:
- Capillary action helps the cement flow into pre-fitted seams for a strong, clean bond
- Comes in a stable hexagonal bottle for easy handling on the workbench
- Built-in brush applicator on the underside of the cap for controlled application
- Working time of 1–2 minutes before parts set, with a full cure in 24 hours
- Not recommended for use with elastomer parts (such as flexible tank treads), as it can cause brittleness
