Description
The Kidde i12010SCOCA is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with a 10-year sealed lithium battery backup. It uses Intelligent Sensor Technology, combining an ionization smoke sensor (which may detect invisible fire particles from fast-flaming fires sooner than photoelectric alarms) with an electrochemical CO sensor. The two sensors communicate with each other, adjusting smoke sensitivity to better discriminate between real hazards and nuisance triggers.
- Combined smoke and CO alarm — a single unit installs where two devices were previously needed
- Sealed 3V lithium battery backup — 10-year tamper-proof battery eliminates the need for replacement and the worry of unauthorized removal
- Voice warning announces "Fire!" or "Warning, Carbon Monoxide" depending on the hazard detected
- Test/Hush button tests alarm circuitry and temporarily silences nuisance alarms for about 9 minutes (only available while in alarm mode)
- Two-LED display: red indicates alarm mode, green indicates AC power is present
- Peak Level Memory alerts when the unit has detected CO concentrations of 100ppm or higher
- Interconnects with up to 24 Kidde hardwired alarms; up to 18 can be initiating devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms
