The EGS AC1A Sealing Cement (Water Soluble, 16 oz) is a Kwiko A sealing compound used in hazardous location electrical fittings to contain and restrict the passage of gases and explosions between sections of a conduit system.
Key features:
- Water-soluble powder mixed on-site and poured into sealing fittings, where it hardens in place
- Contains and restricts gas and explosion passage between conduit sections in classified hazardous locations
- Designed for use with Appleton-style sealing fittings and sealing hubs
- Fiber filler (used alongside the cement) dams around conductors to prevent leakage while the compound is still liquid
